Lakme Fashion Week summed up with a Fashion Parade

It was a fiery end to Lakme fashion week in Mumbai where a number of celebrities walked on the ramp in designer outfits on the final day of the 2008 season. On the day, Celina Jaitely and Mandira Bedi were dressed up in designer outfits of Babita Malkani and Archana Kochhar. Where Anil Kapoor had a very interesting dress up designed by Kunal Rawal. Day 2 and 3 of lakme fashion week was overshadowed by none other than Sonam Kapoor!
The vivacious actress walked the ramp in pristine white, for the Levi’s collection by Tarun Tahiliani on the day 2 of Lakme Fashion Week.
Whereas, day 3 was a dedication to guys! Digvijay Singh attributed contemporary and chic look for boys. Sundry men’s wear by Dev R NIL was also highly applauded.

Manish Malhotra and Rohit Bal’s displayed their designs as saved for the best to be exhibited for last at Couture Week. Their costumes were well appreciated by the celebrities like Shilpa and Shamika Shetty, Karan Johar and Ritesh Deshmukh who attended the event.

In the first ever couture week in India, the oldest design house of India, Ritu Kumar celebrated its 40th anniversary. Model turned actresses Neha Dhupia and Priyanka Chopra exhibited spectacular dress collection of Kumar’s that is known for amalgamation of classical designs and modern patterns in its fashion statement.
