No doubt, opening of the Atlantis Resort in Dubai is one of the biggest glamour news of the year attended by a number of renowned celebrities along ‘Goddess of Atlantis’ Priyanka Chopra. Apart from Priyanka, other noted celebrities presented at the event were, Lindsay Lohan, Robert Deniro, Charlize Theron, etc.
At a recently held MTV second season launch Deepika Padukone was seen in totally different style and dress up with long hair almost reaching up to her waist while promoting her movie ‘Chandini Chowk to China’. MTV roadies is a reality show in which participants on “Hero Honda Karizma” travel through the different destinations on predetermined routes accomplishing various tasks and a person who till survives with a voting process till the end of the race is declared as winner possessing a 1 million rupee and a bike.

With every new venture Aamir Khan slips out something new and impressive out of his sleeves. First, his pumped up look in the promos of ‘Ghajini’ shocked everyone, then came his innovative way of promoting the film through net and now after his 6-pack abs, his 6 different looks in one song is creating news.
The song has Aamir woo his love Asin in six different costumes and six different hairstyles. This song called ‘Behka’ was shot in South Africa and took a good long 20 days and towards the culmination of the song, all six characters played by Aamir in the song come together on screen.
While the song has been conceptualized and choreographed by Ahmed Khan, the hair has been done by the renowned Avan Contractor and the costumes credit goes to Arjun Bhasin.
Her debut film ‘Jannat’ opposite Emraan Hashmi did fairly well at the box office and the girl definitely made her presence felt with the film. Talking about tall and sexy Sonal Chauhan not much has been on from her side post ‘Jannat’.
Now, Sonal is all set to win the hearts of her fans with her performance where she will be seen sharing the stage and performing alongside internationally acclaimed rockstar Bryan Adams at a gala event in January next year. The entire show has been organized by a leading jewellery company and this is the first time a mainstream Bollywood actress would be seen performing alongside a top international rockstar.
Do we need to mention here how excited Sonal is about performing with international star Bryan Adams?

Mallika Sherawat is experimenting with new looks these days apart from the bold and hot image that she already has. After going through the transformation from a hot bombshell to a snake woman for ‘Hissss’, the lady now appears in a very corporately chic avatar in the latest edition of the fashion magazine ‘Grazia’.
The media is abuzz with the word that Mallika was on a special diet for weeks to carry out this shoot. If the cover was not enough, the inside pages have a whole articles covering all about Mallika which is accompanied by snaps in which the photographer has presented her like never before. Talking about her personal life, Mallika declares that she is single and well, she is not very happy about it. The sultry bong beauty, Riya Sen, has always been in news more for her controversies and bold comments than her work in films. This year the gal will not be celebrating the Christmas with her family due to her prior commitment to perform in a show in Hong Kong during Christmas. So, instead of celebrating it with family, Riya decided this time that she will be staying a couple of days in Hong Kong with her friends and having a blast.

Priyanka Chopra who definitely would be in seventh sky after the success of movies, ‘Fashion’ and ‘Dostana’ gained a new feather added to her when she was named as ‘Goddess of Atlantis’ to represent the new resort Atlantis, The Palms in Dubai! She was decked out at the grand start of ‘Atlantis Rising,’ fireworks that was organized to launch the resort and the event was organized by same company which managed fireworks event at Beijing Olympics.
She was joined at the event by other stars from Hollywood including Denzel Washington, Robert De Niro, Lindsay Lohan, Gerard Butler, Janet Jackson, Lily Allen and Michael Jordan. Some of the richest business family from India including Ambanis, Moranis, and Hindujas were presented at the party.

I personally think that the makers of the trendsetting DILWALE DULAHNIYA LE JAAENGE and the radical MOHABBATEIN failed to woo the audience in DRONA and KIDNAP.
It is but obvious that we are referring to the first look of the Aditya Chopra directed, Shah Rukh Khan starrer RAB NE BANA DI JODI that is shining the walls of many theatres and multiplexes. Not content with that, Yash Raj Films have also taken full page ads in Sunday’s National dailies, both in English and the Vernacular.
After Duplicate and Om Shanti Om it's now Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi which will see Shah Rukh in a double role. According to sources, SRK will be seen in not one but two different avatars in Aditya Chopra's much-awaited film. The film sees Aditya Chopra making a come back after eight long years.
The poster shows a mustached, bespectacled middle class get up for Shah Rukh (Amol Palekar CHITCHOR looks?) with Anushka in a typical Punjabi salwar–suit peeping from behind Shah Rukh’s shoulders. The poster carries a very interesting and arresting tagline, both in Hindi and English.
The Hindi tagline goes like ”Har saadhaaran jodi mein ek asaadhaaran prem kahani chhupi hoti hai” And the English tagline is ”There is an extraordinary love story in every ordinary jodi”
Well, after seeing the buzz that the first poster is creating, one does not have to be a Nostradamus to predict the big opening when the film hits the screens worldwide on December 12.
If people were to throng the theatres with full aspirations, I would say that they are right, atleast for this one. Shot in premier and typical Yash Raj type locations... it sure is the time SRK gets his King Image back which rules the Bollywood empire back in DDLJ and KKHH time.

South actress Kaveri Jha may not have made her presence felt much with her film ‘Hijack’ opposite Shiney Ahuja, but the girl has definitely impressed at least some of the makers. So, Kaveri has been signed for ‘Bum Bum Bole’ directed by Priyadarshan.
The film is an adaptation of the hit Iranian film ‘Children of Heaven’ and has Darsheel Safary in the lead. The film also stars Atul Kulkarni who will play Darsheel’s father and Rituparna Sengupta, who will play his mother. Kaveri has been signed to play the role of Atul’s sister.
News has it that the film runs on two parallels, one that deals with Darsheel and his faith in God, while the second is about the relationship between Kaveri and Atul. Priyadarshan is so excited about this project that he has kept his comedy ‘De Dana Dan’ on hold for the time being till this one gets completed.
Rani Mukherjee has always been a favorite of Yash Raj camp and sure the actress has delivered some mega hits for the camp. This time the lady is in YRF’s next directed by Anurag Singh. Not much is known about Rani’s role and storyline of the film.
However, rumours have revealed that Rani plays the character of a cricket enthusiast in the film who is so obsessed with the sport that she will go to any level to play it. This obsession pushes her to disguise herself as a man and enter an all male cricket squad.
Shahid Kapoor plays a cricket player. However, no official confirmation about the film’s storyline has come from Yash Raj Films. So guys, just wait and watch to see the Rani-Shahid chemistry score centuries at the box-office.

It was a fiery end to Lakme fashion week in Mumbai where a number of celebrities walked on the ramp in designer outfits on the final day of the 2008 season. On the day, Celina Jaitely and Mandira Bedi were dressed up in designer outfits of Babita Malkani and Archana Kochhar. Where Anil Kapoor had a very interesting dress up designed by Kunal Rawal.
