Mallika Sherawat is experimenting with new looks these days apart from the bold and hot image that she already has. Riya Sen to be in Hong Kong for Christmas

The sultry bong beauty, Riya Sen, has always been in news more for her controversies and bold comments than her work in films. This year the gal will not be celebrating the Christmas with her family due to her prior commitment to perform in a show in Hong Kong during Christmas. So, instead of celebrating it with family, Riya decided this time that she will be staying a couple of days in Hong Kong with her friends and having a blast.

However, she is a little bit sad about not being with her family and especially with her sister Raima during the festival time, but has decided to make it up with the New Year celebrations.

So Riya made some sacrifices to turn down some good offers to do shows in London, Dubai, Australia, Delhi and some other places and instead opted for a performance in Pune as her friends and family will be there during the time to welcome the new year.

Lakme Fashion Week summed up with a Fashion Parade

It was a fiery end to Lakme fashion week in Mumbai where a number of celebrities walked on the ramp in designer outfits on the final day of the 2008 season. Bipasha was in New York to give company to John Abraham while he was there to shoot for Kabir Khan ’s film ‘New York’. While exploring the place, Bips came across one Babouska bag in a Gucci store, but she did not buy it because she she felt it was a bit too costly. John kept his lady’s heart and surprised her by gifting the same bag and that is a brown-and-gold coloured Gucci Babouska Medium Boston worth Rs 15 lakhs in Indian currency.

The star studded grand premiere of ‘Drona’

It was grand, grand and indeed a very grand premiere. Attended by an array of glittering stars, Goldie Behl directed film ‘Drona’ was premiered in a gala style in Mumbai.

The entire Bachchan clan was present at the occasion. Aishwarya Rai in a dazzling blue outfit with a perfect poise alongside hubby Abhishek, Big B with wife Jaya, Bollywood’s ‘Baadshah’ Shah Rukh Khan along with wife Gauri, Preity Zinta in a black saree, bubbly Priyanka in a short dress, Sonali Bendre, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Adnan Sami, Neelam- the guest list seemed just endless.

Speaking on the occassion, Abhishek refused to tag ‘Drona’ as a super hero movie, and was hopeful that the audience would like it. He was happy that his entire family was present during the premiere and he was also thankful to his friends and other co-stars for being there.

Aishwarya agreed with Abhishek and said that she liked Abhishek’s work in the film, which she enjoyed. Ash said that Drona was more of a fantasy tale, which would be enjoyed by audiences of all ages, including children.

Big-B was impressed with the visual effects of the film and enjoyed watching it. When asked about the success of the film, Bachchan senior said that it was upto the audience to decide and he could not predict such outcomes. Shah Rukh wished for the movie’s success and hoped it to be as exciting as it promised to be

‘Drona’ has Abhishek playing a superhero and Priyanka Chopra playing his bodyguard. The film also stars Kay Kay Menon in a negative role of Riz Raizada and Jaya Bachchan is Queen Jayati, the mother of ‘Drona’.

Bipasha and Deepika give in to SRK’s temptations

Hardly has Big B’s ‘Unforgettable Tour’ come to an end that SRK has speedened his preparations for ‘Tempatations Relaoded’. After convincing stars like Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Arjun Rampal to be a part of his much ambitious world tour, SRK has got in the nod from Bollywood hotties Bipasha Basu and Deepika Padukone. SRK is planning a series of concerts in Germany, Spain and Dubai in the month of October.

Bipasha and Deepika will be seen in the German leg of the tour. The two ladies, who sparked rumours about not getting along too well while working together in ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’, are likely to share the stage during the concerts. Even Kareena Kapoor is expected to join the tour.

‘Temptation Reloaded’ will also feature SRK’s good friend Arjun Rampal who is likely to play the guitar onstage, like his character in ‘Rock On’.

The concerts are scheduled thus: Show in Berlin on October 17; in Munich on October 18; in Frankfurt on October 19; in Barcelona (Spain) on October 20. There will be a four day break before the final concert in Dubai on October 25.

Salman Khan gifts Katrina her portait

Salman Khan has displayed his painting skills on quite a few canvases now, but how could his journey as a painter be complete, if he didn’t sketch out her picture perfect lady love Katrina Kaif. So, here he is. Reportedly, before Salman left for Paris and London to shoot his film ‘London Dreams’, he had a small party with Katrina and gifted her the painting. Not to mentions Kats was stunned and thrilled at this gesture from Salman.

Could we mention here that Salman stills retains the portrait of his ex-love Aishwarya Rai in his collection and despite Katrina’s insistence he refuses to part with it. Salman has inherited his passion for painting from his painter mother, Salma. The actor showcased his paintings in an exhibition last year and wants to do it again to raise funds for his Salman Khan Foundation.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is not the only one to be smitten by Katrina Kaif’s beauty. Reports have it that Bhutan’s new King in waiting Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk is a big fan of Katrina Kaif and has not missed a single movie of hers. The 27 year old prince’s coronation is going to be solemnized at Thimpu, the capital of Bhutan, and Katrina Kaif has been approached to perform at the function, as the new King is fond of her.
